Modern Institute of Technology Rishikesh is a private institute affiliated to H.N.B. Garhwal University, Uttarakhand Technical University, Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University & Uttarakhand Board of Technology Education. Established in 1970, MIT Rishikesh is approved by AICTE, PCI and NCTE, the institute offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses in the discipline of Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmacy, Education and Science.  The SC and ST students with scholarships can apply for Undergraduate courses by paying Rs 5,000 and Post- Graduate courses Rs 10,000 at the time of admission and need to pay the remaining fee before the first term examination to appear in the exams.
